She doesn't like the drama': Amber Heard 'cools down' her relationship with Johnny Depp

She hit the headlines earlier this year when it was reported that she had been a pivotal reason behind Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis' split.
But now it has been claimed that Amber Heard's relationship with the actor has 'cooled down', because she is fed up with the 'drama' surrounding their romance.
A source told RadarOnline.com that while Johnny, 49, and 26-year-old Amber were 'definitely hooking up', Amber is now taking some time to think about what she wants from her relationship with her Rum Diary co-star.

The source said: 'Amber has never wanted that sort of attention. She really likes Johnny, but she doesn’t like the drama.
'She isn’t really sure what is going to happen with them, but just wants the attention to cool down before anything progresses.'
The source added that Amber and Johnny's relationship began shortly after they finished filming the movie adaptation of The Rum Diary, before the actor announced his split from long-term partner Vanessa, with whom he has two children, and bisexual Amber revealed she had broken up with girlfriend Tasya van Ree.

The source continued: 'Johnny and Amber were definitely involved. They definitely had chemistry carried over from the set.
'Amber quietly split from Tasya around the same time Johnny was secretly separated from Vanessa, so the timing was just right.
'They were hooking up for months -- way before he publicly announced that he and Vanessa had split up.
'They did a really good job of keeping their relationship on the down low for a while, especially since many people assumed that Amber was only into girls.'
But it was when Johnny and Vanessa's split was finally made public that the attention on Amber became too much to handle, with reports emerging that she was dating the father-of-two.
The source told Radar: 'She prides herself on being free-thinking and independent - not some homewrecker trying to sleep her way to the top.
'As soon as the media started publicising the romance, she told Johnny that she needed some space.

'The crazy thing was that Johnny actually split from Vanessa at the end of last year, so she didn't break them up, but because they didn't announce their relationship was over until June, people were painting her as some kind of scarlet lady, which she is far from being.'
According to the report, Amber has stepped away from Johnny to concentrate on spending time with her girlfriends, although the pair are still in touch.
